Sympathetic Resonance VII
Created in one of those fabled moments where everything aligned - environmentally, emotionally, physically, circumstantially. A true, and exceedingly rare, 'in the present' experience which came about during the first lockdown in the summer of 2020.
This ongoing series is a meditative process and only works when my concentration is solely on the piece in hand. These pieces come from a place of harmony, engaging entirely with the environment, the simplicity and flow of the materials, and spontaneous instinctive gestural mark-making.
Ink on 200gsm Fabriano paper painted using my signature brushes handmade from my hair.
Series # IV, V, VI & VII are approx. 260mm x 210mm [framed 290mm x 275mm]
Float mounted on conservation grade mount card, mounted with Japanese tissue and wheat starch, anti-reflective glazing. Series # IV, V, VI & VII have a stained ebony and waxed ash wood frame.

PLEASE NOTE that I am still figuring out the best method to ship glass framed work from the limited options available, so if you are based in London or the surrounding areas I would strongly recommend collection or I could potentially jump on a train and personally deliver to you depending on location.
