JEWELLERY

Unconventional sustainable jewellery and wearable sculpture.

A fusion of precious, semi-precious and waste materials developed and explored through themes of transition, manipulation, ephemerality, identity and imperfection culminating in highly unique collections and bespoke pieces.

Responsible making is at the heart of everything I do. Conscious sourcing and working methods are paramount.
Circular economy principles are integral to my process using the imperfect, discarded and intervention of the self as inspiration, tool, and material. Waste is reused, reworked and ultimately reduced within and across my art and jewellery practices.

The alchemy of waste.

Due to the processes and materials I use no two pieces are identical, creating truly one of kind wearable artworks.

I am committed to sustainable and ethical making

  • I use sustainable and responsibly sourced, recycled, biodegradable, reclaimed materials in my work and packaging.
  • I am among the first 50 jewellers to take the Fair Luxury provenance pledge and as part of this I have become licensed to use Fairmined precious metals.
  • Circular economy principles are an integral part of my practice.
  • I am constantly seeking out alternative non-toxic and resource efficient processes, and developing ways to reuse and incorporate waste materials produced in making work to create new work. I am also actively pursuing cross-discipline collaborations with other industries to reuse their waste products/materials/resources in my work.
  • I am passionate about sourcing materials with my own hands, re-using what is already in circulation, and giving new life to what cannot be recycled.

I strive to maintain a more ethical, environmentally responsible and sustainable practice.

As Seen on Stage and Screen

Beyond delighted that the sublime Siobhán McSweeney and Kathy Kiera Clarke have both chosen to wear my jewellery for appearances on stage and screen.

Most notably on the 2022 series of The Great Pottery Throw Down, and for the BAFTA TV Awards 2023.

Siobhán McSweeney also wore pieces for her feature in the May 2024 issue of Irish Country Magazine.

"I’m so delighted with my rings. They fit absolutely perfectly. I love the molten style of them - almost like knotty thread. Every time I look they have mixed differently. They were commissioned and made quickly, beautifully and efficiently by Charlotte."
