I use recycled, responsibly sourced, biodegradable and reclaimed materials in my work and packaging as much as possible.
Circular economy principles are an integral part of my practice to ensure that I rethink, reuse, recycle and reduce at every stage.
I am constantly seeking out alternative non-toxic and resource efficient processes, and ways to reuse and incorporate waste materials produced in making work to create new work.
I strive to maintain a more ethical, environmentally responsible and sustainable practice.

For artists:
The Artists Guide to Eco-Friendly Art, by Scott Denholm
Link shared with kind permission from Scott Denholm.
This is an incredible book and the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide I can find for artists who want to make work in a more environmentally responsible way. I'm a little jealous I didn't write this myself, but Scott has done all the hard work for us! PLUS it can be downloaded as an e-book to save trees (make sure you are using the Ecosia search engine to look it up to plant more trees!).
This Is (Still) Not A Solution, by London Alternative Photographic Collective & The Sustainable Darkroom
I am very proud to have some of my experimentations from the Sustainable Darkroom Residency, 2020 included in this publication.
A culmination of recipes, essays, ideas, reflections and poetry towards a more sustainable analogue photographic practice. Produced as a result of the April 2020 Sustainable Darkroom residency. During this time we gathered online daily throughout the month of April to investigate the themes Recycle, Remove, Repurpose and Rework and their relationship to analogue photography and the photographic darkroom.
